HASKAMA
We believe Tahor App will help and encourage families to become involved in the beautiful Mitzvah of Taharas Hamishapacha. It is clear the developers have rigorously tested Tahor App and implemented the technology necessary for a Rav to provide an accurate Psak in most cases. The attention to Halachic detail is impressive, and the creative technology employed by Tahor App makes it a leader and pioneer in the cause of promoting this Mitzvah.
The unique features of Tahor App, such as a digital tool to measure a ‘Gris’, specific lighting thresholds, and an anonymous information section in which women can input pertinent and personal information, enable both users and Rabbanim to achieve the most accurate results possible.
While there is no question that the ideal method of asking a She’ela concerning Ma’aros, is to present the She’ela in person to a Rabbi, we recognize that sometimes situations arise which make personal contact with a Rabbi difficult or impossible. It is for these situations that Tahor Appp was designed.
Therefore, we, the undersigned Rabbonim, join together in support of Tahor App and its mission of including more families in the precious Mitzvah of Taharas Hamishpacha.
DISCLAIMER
Tahor App is Rabbinically approved for women who do not or cannot ask Taharas Hamishpacha questions in person. This app was not designed to replace the traditional drop-off service. Whenever possible, the actual cloth should be brought to a Rabbi.
